This is it. It's about doggone time I finished off the car. I was holding off all minor updates since the last because I'm too lazy to re-render and post-process the mesh over and over again. So here it is. The final geometrical assembly of my Spectre R42 project standing at 6,637 triangles (which is bound to increase by a little because of the addition of a driver and other miscellaneous components for in-game use).
The renders you see here contain some form of smoothing. But I tell you that is only calculated over the entire car and with no current subdivisions whatsoever. I am still yet to do those.
Next up on the things to do: -fix the smoothing groups -create and apply the texture map -scale to suitable size for game -weld both halves

So, I pull my coat back and real slow (no reason to start it up yet) I rest my hand by the Smith. Then I give them that cold smile and in the low, soft killing voice I say, "Gentlemen, I'm your worst nightmare. A gunfighter with a rendering station"
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
